Families can make the most of the summer holidays with the brand-new Summer Adventure Pass at the Weald & Downland Living Museum, Chichester.

Launching for the first time this summer, the Summer Adventure Pass offers exceptional value, giving families unlimited visits throughout the summer holidays, all in one special family ticket from £49, for a limited time only

Designed to enable families to explore all the fun at the Museum, the pass unlocks six weeks of outdoor adventures, hands-on history, imaginative play and living history events.

This year's summer adventure starts with Childhood Through Time, inviting visitors of all ages to play, discover and reconnect with childhood across the centuries.

Children can follow the Toys Through Time Trail, enjoy imaginative play activities across the Museum's 40-acre site and immerse themselves in a changing programme of themed activities running every Tuesday to Thursday, along with a range of have-a-go opportunities for all ages. As part of the Summer Adventure Pass, visitors can also enjoy two spectacular Living History weekends and the August Bank Holiday.

"The Summer Adventure Pass is all about giving families the freedom to enjoy everything the Museum has to offer throughout the holidays. Whether you're spending a whole day exploring or popping in for an afternoon adventure, there's always something new to discover. From living history weekends and themed activities to imaginative play and peaceful picnic spots, every visit offers a different experience, says Sophie Ferrier, Visitor Experience Manager at the Weald & Downland Living Museum.

Also new for summer 2026, the Museum is expanding its family play experiences with exciting new ways to explore the site.
Families can pick up an Adventure Bag, packed with activities to encourage children to discover the Museum's landscapes, wildlife and historic buildings, while the new Great Wooden Ball Run invites children to purchase a wooden ball, race it through the course and take it home as a keepsake to use again on future visits.

Whether you're exploring historic homes, meeting farm animals, enjoying a picnic, discovering traditional crafts or simply letting children roam and play in the beautiful South Downs countryside, the Summer Adventure Pass offers outstanding value for families throughout the school holidays.

Available for a limited time only. Book ahead, pay once and play all summer.
