District businesses reminded to share their views in business insight survey

Businesses across the Chichester District are being reminded to take part in Chichester District Councils business insight survey before it closes at 11.59pm on Friday 6 March 2026.

 

The survey is designed to build a current and comprehensive picture of the local business climate. It asks businesses about the local economic conditions they operate in, the opportunities for growth and development, and the challenges they face. It also seeks to understand premises demand, future growth ambitions, and explores the impacts of climate change on businesses and their journey towards achieving net zero. The information gathered will provide valuable insight into the needs and priorities of local businesses, helping the council and its partners to better understand the current business landscape.

 

Id like to thank all of the businesses that have completed our survey so far, says Councillor Harsha Desai, Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Communications, Licensing and Events at Chichester District Council.

 

Our Economic Development team works closely with businesses to provide support and signpost opportunities, but this survey will help us gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities that these businesses face.

The survey covers a wide range of topics, including business conditions and growth plans, recruitment and skills development, workforce barriers, cost-of-living pressures, environmental impacts, and growth needs.

 

We know that local businesses are the backbone of our economy and are critical to a thriving local community. This is why its really important that we hear from businesses of all sizes and sectors across the district. If you havent already, please do take part before the survey closes on Friday 6 March 2026.
