JazzFest26 brings an exceptional line-up of international jazz talent to New Park Centre

New Park Community Centre in Chichester is delighted to welcome JazzFest26 to its Auditorium on Thursday 27 August, bringing an outstanding evening of live jazz featuring internationally acclaimed musicians alongside emerging local talent.

From legendary saxophonist Trevor Watts to international alto star Tommaso Starace, acclaimed guitarist Chris Allard and the groove-driven RhythmEarth Trio, JazzFest26 promises an exciting evening for jazz lovers and anyone looking to experience exceptional live music in the heart of Chichester.

The evening will open with A Luffa Supreme, a new swing band from Bishop Luffa School, before the traditional JazzFest jam session gets the evening underway.

Headlining the festival is Trevor Watts & Eternal Triangle. A pioneering saxophonist and founder of the Spontaneous Music Ensemble, Watts brings decades of musical innovation to the New Park stage, exploring mesmerising Afro-Latin rhythms in a performance full of originality and energy.

Also taking to the stage is internationally acclaimed alto saxophonist Tommaso Starace, whose career has included collaborations with leading musicians including Paolo Fresu. His powerful post-bop style promises to bring another dynamic dimension to an already impressive programme.

Acclaimed guitarist Chris Allard will also perform, bringing his distinctive and evocative sound to the festival in collaboration with pianist Nic Saunders.

Completing the main line-up is RhythmEarth Trio, whose powerful, groove-based music combines infectious rhythms with catchy tunes from their latest recording.

For New Park Community Centre, hosting JazzFest for the fifth year is an opportunity to welcome an exciting programme of music and performance while showcasing the Auditoriums versatility as a live entertainment venue.

JazzFest26 takes place at New Park Community Centre, New Park Road, Chichester, PO19 7XY, on Thursday 27 August 2026, from 5.30pm to 10.30pm.
