Chichester's only poetry slam kicks off the first event of the season featuring the incredible Jackson Davies as our headliner and the amazing Olivia Coppin as our Chichester Spotlight.
Held at the Chichester Inn, our slam is a high-energy, crowd-powered celebration of words, rhythm, and raw emotion. Poets take to the stage to share original pieces of work and the audience gets to cheer, snap, and even help judge. Whether you're performing or just soaking it all in, our slam is all about connection, creativity, and community. Come experience poetry like youve never heard it before.
We have monthly heats (on the last Wednesday of the month) where up to 10 poets share their poetry in an inclusive welcoming environment. One winner voted by audience members will be crowned on the night and will be offered a 15 minute feature set at our next months slam.
