Sidlesham Fete

The much-loved Sidlesham Village Fete is back on Saturday 25 July, promising an afternoon and evening packed with entertainment, family fun and traditional village charm. With free entry and free parking, everyone is invited to come along and enjoy one of the highlights of the local summer calendar.

The festivities begin at 2.00pm, with the wonderful sounds of the Chichester City Brass Band filling the air from the band tent, creating the perfect atmosphere as visitors explore everything the fete has to offer.

Come and admire the classic cars, chat with their owners, who will be delighted to share the stories and fascinating facts behind their prized classics.

Dog lovers won't want to miss this year's fun dog show, where four-legged friends can compete in a range of classes from the waggiest tail to cutest puppy. Register on the day at 2pm New for this year is the chance to have a go at dog agility, offering plenty of fun for both dogs and their owners.

Visitors can also browse the stalls, with everything from books, toys, games, the boutique stall. Enjoy an ice-cream, refreshments from the tea tent or a glass or two of Pimms at the beer tent. There are some great prizes to be won in the Grand Draw too! SOme of our local charities will be attending raising valuable funds for their important work within the community.

As the afternoon turns into evening, the celebrations continue. From 5.00pm, visitors are invited to stay and enjoy live music, tuck into a selection of hot food, and relax with friends at our sundowners evening bar, making it the perfect way to round off a summer's day.
