The Encore Chichester Community Orchestra, led by Professor Laura Ritchie and founded in 2016, brings musicians from across the community together without judgement or auditions to enjoy creating music together. ECCO currently has over 80 registered members and weekly attendance approaches 40, with a full range of symphonic instruments including cor anglais, bass clarinet, and contra bassoon.
Attend when you can and enjoy playing music! We work toward termly informal concerts. Musicians are asked to give a voluntary donation of £5 per session.
Proceeds from the group go directly to supporting Laura's research and work with students at the University of Chichester.
